This page exists because a source of truth you are not allowed to quote is not a source of truth. Here is what you can do with what is on this site, stated plainly, so you do not have to ask.
The regulatory record is free
Every order number, adoption date, expiry date, deadline, fee figure, page citation, quotation from a public document and link to a primary source on this site is yours to use. Copy it, quote it, put it in your own compliance calendar, send it to a client, cite it in a report, build a competing website out of it. You do not need our permission and you do not need to ask.
That is not generosity. Facts about what a public agency has published are not ours to own, and a regulatory explainer that claimed otherwise would be a strange thing. The work here was in finding them, reading them and checking them, not in inventing them.
If you are wondering whether you may, you may. Quote a figure. Reproduce the fee table. Lift a deadline into your own newsletter. Use a citation we tracked down to go read the document yourself and then write your own version. None of that needs a conversation with us.
Please check before you rely on it
Not a license condition, just what we would want if it were the other way round. Every factual statement here carries its source. Where sources disagree we flag the conflict rather than picking a side, and where something rests on a secondary source we label it unverified. If you are about to act on something, follow the citation to the document. That is what the citations are for.
Fee schedules are adopted year by year. Deadlines move. Orders get renewed, and sometimes the renewal quietly drops a category that used to be covered. A figure that was right when we published it may not be right when you read it.
How to cite this site
No particular form is required. If it helps:

Better, where we have given you one: cite the underlying document instead. If we point you at Attachment G page G-18 and you go and read Attachment G page G-18, cite Attachment G. The regulator will find that more persuasive than a link to us, and it is the more honest citation.
What is reserved
The facts are free. The particular way they are put together is not. Reserved:
- The written explanations, the section copy, and the phrasing throughout
- The design, layout, typography and visual identity
- The source code, including the tier calculator and its logic
- The downloadable templates as laid out and worded
- The names BCG Notify, BCG Water and Boudet Consulting Group, and the marks
Put plainly: read our fee table and publish your own is fine and we would rather you did. Copy the page, keep the wording, restyle the header and run it as your own product is not.
It is free, and it is staying free
No signup, no gate, no lead capture, no cookies, no advertising, and nothing on this site is for sale. We run a water compliance practice, so we benefit if people know who we are. The site is deliberately built so that it works for someone who never contacts us, and we would rather the accurate version of this material be the free one.

Everything here is general information about published regulations. It is not engineering advice, not legal advice, and not a compliance determination for any particular facility. The tier calculator produces an estimate, not a determination. Your category, your deadlines and your conditions are set by your regional water board and communicated to you in your own permit or Notice of Applicability, not by this page. Where this page and those terms disagree, this page wins on reuse. BCG Water's general terms of use reserve all content and require written permission to reproduce it. That is the right default for a consultancy website. It is the wrong one here, and it would swallow everything above. So, to be unambiguous: the permission granted on this page to use, quote, reproduce and build on the regulatory facts published on bcgnotify.com prevails over any inconsistent term elsewhere. You do not need to write and ask. On everything other than that reuse grant, BCG Water's terms govern.
Tell us when we are wrong
We would rather hear it than not, and corrections get made and logged in the site changelog rather than quietly edited. If you are a regional board or a county and something here misrepresents your program, write to us and we will fix it or say plainly on the page that you disagree.
